Guinn raises over $100K in race for Johnson County DA

January 10, 2008 -- Rick Guinn, candidate for Johnson County District Attorney, reported $101,853 in total funds raised for 2007. Guinn filed his campaign finance report today with the Governmental Ethics Commission and Johnson County Election Office.

"I am honored by the broad support I've received from Republicans and Democrats alike," Guinn said. "For over 25 years, I've fought for the safety of our community and Johnson County families. I look forward to continuing my public service."

This campaign finance report included all contributions and expenditures made between January 1 through December 31, 2007. Guinn finished the year with $100,390 in financial contributions, $1,463 in in-kind contributions and $3,126 in total expenses. He finished the year with $97,263 cash on hand.
